Anthrax! Aaaaiiiiieeeeee!

Anthrax and bafflement do not mix. Well actually they do mix occasionally, but they shouldn't mix, because it means more death and destruction, right? Right?

Anyway, the New York Daily News reports "Experts baffled by case". While we applaud the use of "baffled" in the headline, they are obviously trying to downplay the story compared to an accurate headline, which would read "Experts baffled by DEADLY ANTHRAX case."

Why does the thought of gigantic houseplants baffling flower experts scare me?

I don't want any uncertainty in the world of houseplants. I'm sorry, but I need stability in that area.

Regardless, a Horsham, UK woman was literally "flabbergasted" by a gigantic houseplant that has baffled flower experts and "sent ripples of excitement through the horticultural world."

Australian eels are dying! Dammit, scientists, think of something!

Thousands of Australian eels are dying. I'm not sure how I feel about this, but the important thing is that scientists are baffled.

"Australian scientists say they are baffled by the mass deaths of thousands of eels..."
