Insect experts are baffled, as well as perplexed by the gigantic yellow jacket nests that are being discovered in "old barns, unoccupied houses, cars and underground cavities".

Or rather, gigantic nests of yellow jackets. When we get nests of gigantic yellow jackets I'm going to run screaming.

Experts baffled by crocodiles found in urban areas

Several crocodiles have been seen in densely-populated Singapore, including one near a commercial bank and another near an apartment block. I'm assuming this is baffling because crocodiles don't usually roam around loose in Singapore?

Why does the thought of gigantic houseplants baffling flower experts scare me?

I don't want any uncertainty in the world of houseplants. I'm sorry, but I need stability in that area.

Regardless, a Horsham, UK woman was literally "flabbergasted" by a gigantic houseplant that has baffled flower experts and "sent ripples of excitement through the horticultural world."

Anthrax! Aaaaiiiiieeeeee!

Anthrax and bafflement do not mix. Well actually they do mix occasionally, but they shouldn't mix, because it means more death and destruction, right? Right?

Anyway, the New York Daily News reports "Experts baffled by case". While we applaud the use of "baffled" in the headline, they are obviously trying to downplay the story compared to an accurate headline, which would read "Experts baffled by DEADLY ANTHRAX case."
